Samyut Yoga Sangha

Walk Beyond the Postures.
Connect with the Lineage.

A sanctuary for dedicated yoga aspirants searching for depth beyond physical fitness, and certified yoga teachers seeking traditional lineage, authentic mentorship, and scriptural mastery.

“Asana is simply the front porch of the temple. Do not build your house on the porch. Walk inside, unlock the breath, and rest in the light of pure consciousness.”

Yogacharya Dr. Aravind Prasad, Founder

Bridging the Gap

Why We Gather: Solving the Modern Yoga Paradox

For the Yoga Aspirant

The Struggle:

You love yoga, but commercial studios reduce it to a fast-paced fitness routine centered solely on sweating and flexibility. When you try to study scriptures like the Upanishads or Yoga Sutras, the Sanskrit terms and vast philosophical commentaries feel overwhelming, leaving you without a clear entry point.

The Sangha Remedy:

Samyut Sangha breaks down profound scriptural teachings into structured, everyday language. You will learn traditional breathwork (Pranayama), concentration (Dharana), and Sanskrit basics in a guided circle that integrates practice directly with your daily life.

For the Yoga Teacher

The Struggle:

You are a certified teacher, but you carry a silent imposter syndrome when students ask deep questions about philosophy, alignments, or Sanskrit chanting. Teaching countless fitness classes leaves you burnt out, isolated, and disconnected from your own personal practice and traditional lineage roots.

The Sangha Remedy:

This is your lineage sanctuary. Refine your hands-on adjustments, master scriptural teaching pedagogy, and practice authentic Sanskrit pronunciation. Re-ignite your personal sadhana under direct mentorship and join a supportive network of teachers to share resources and avoid burnout.

Pedagogy of Growth

The Traditional Progression Model

Samyut Yoga organizes spiritual training into four clear layers, aligning the physical, energetic, mental, and spiritual aspects of the human experience.

STAGE 01

1. The Physical Gateway (Asana)

Aligning and purifying the physical body. We use classical Hatha and Ashtanga Vinyasa sequencing not as a fitness routine, but as a vehicle for physical stability and mental stillness.

STAGE 02

2. The Breath & Prana (Pranayama)

Decoding the energy body. Utilizing traditional breath retention (Kumbhaka) and bandhas from Hatha texts to settle the nervous system and calm the fluctuations of the mind.

STAGE 03

3. The Inquiry of Wisdom (Vedanta)

Who am I? Contemplating non-dual wisdom from Upanishads and Patanjali's texts. Shifting the intellect from theoretical reading to active experiential self-inquiry.

STAGE 04

4. Pure Consciousness (Tantra & Dhyana)

Resting in pure awareness. Exploring advanced concentration techniques (Dharana) from Vijnana Bhairava Tantra, culminating in natural absorption (Samadhi).
